Alors on a attendu assez longtemps.

Arrival in Delhi

We made it to Delhi on time. We got off the plane and went through immigration. Someone stamped our passports. The airport was thick with people. We circumvented the line of people waiting by going through the part set aside for diplomats :-). We waited for our baggage to come through and guess what happened? The trolley fell over onto the tarmac. So we had to wait for ages.

We finally got out and there were crowds of people on all sides, coming and going from the airport. Uncle Christophe was waiting for us and we found him. We took a taxi to his place. The car was really tiny, we had to put the big suitcase on the roof. I was fine in the taxi, there weren’t many cars cos it was midnight. People in cars here spend all their time hooting their horns.

We finally got to Uncle Christophe’s. The apartment is amazing. Huge rooms and every bedroom has its own bathroom. I couldn’t eat anything cos I wasn’t hungry. Magali was waiting for us here, but baby Nitika was sleeping.

India is a really noisy country. From the house you can hear horns beeping and dogs barking half the night.
