On va bientôt décoller.

10am Paris CDG, in the plane waiting for take-off

From home, I took the tube and then the RER. We had quite a load and I was very hungry since we didn’t have time to have breakfast before leaving.

When we arrived at the airport, we took our luggage to the check-in. We put our big sweaters and jackets in our bags. In Paris it was cold, but where we are going, we won’t need sweaters! Then we took the VAL to get to the boarding satellite and went through the security check and I was searched because the alarm went off when I went through the security gate. The security guard introduced himself: « I am the security guard. Is it OK if I touch you? ». When he searched me it tickled and i couldn’t help laughing. Then he ran a metal detector over me but in the end he said: « OK, you can go through ». We went to the VIP lounge to wait for boarding. I had a big breakfast: 2 chocolate croissants, milk and orange juice.

So now we are in the plane and I’m dictating this to my Dad. He’ll write it up on the computer and we’ll post it tonight. We are about to take off.

    bonjour Gabriel
